Account: Your registered Veks Fantasy user profile, secured by username, password, and secret recovery phrase.
User Content: Any text, images, feedback, or other material you submit through the Service (e.g., forum posts).
Contest: A match-specific competition where Users draft teams and accumulate Points based on real-world performance.
Points: Numerical values awarded to virtual teams per the published Points System.
Service: The website at https://veksfantasycricket.shop/ and all associated features, content, and functionality.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full. If you disagree with any part, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility & Registration

Age: You must be ≥18 years.
Residency: Only Indian residents (excluding Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu) may register.
Single Account: One account per person; duplicate/fraudulent accounts will be terminated.
Registration Details: Must provide accurate username, email, password, recovery phrase.
Verification: We may request proof of age/residency; failure to comply may suspend your Account.

4. Account Security & Management

You are responsible for all activities under your Account.
Keep your credentials confidential; notify us immediately on suspected compromise.
You may update your email or password via Dashboard; username changes are not permitted.
We reserve the right to suspend access if suspicious activity is detected.

5. Service Description & Usage

Veks Fantasy is a free, skill-based fantasy cricket platform. Key points:

Free-to-Play: No registration, entry, or subscription fees.
No Ads: We do not display third-party advertisements.
Skill-Based: Outcomes depend on your cricket knowledge and strategy.
Technology: PHP-based backend with server-side file-locking for data integrity.

6. Contest Mechanics

Team Selection: Choose 11 players within a fixed budget cap.
Role Assignment: Assign one Captain (×2 points) and one Vice-Captain (×1.5 points).
Entry: Join free contests or create private leagues; no deposit required.
Lock Time: Teams lock at the scheduled match start; no changes afterward.
Match Abandonment: If no play happens, contest is voided and points refunded.

7. Points System

Points are calculated automatically per the published schema:

Batting: +1/run, +1/four, +2/six, +12 half-century, +25 century.
Bowling: +25/wicket, +12/maiden, +2/dot ball, +30 five-wicket haul, +20 hat-trick.
Fielding: +10/catch or stumping, +12/direct run-out.
Bonus: +50 Player of the Match; Captain ×2; Vice-Captain ×1.5.

We may correct scoring errors within 24 hours; final decisions are at our discretion.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Data Collection: Email, username, usage logs.
Use: Account management, support, analytics.
Storage: Server-side file or database with encryption at rest.
Sharing: No third-party sharing except legal obligations.
Retention: Data kept as long as Account is active, then anonymized or deleted on request.

9. Intellectual Property

All Site content (graphics, text, code) is owned by Veks Fantasy or licensed. You may not reproduce or distribute without written consent.

10. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post (e.g., feedback, forum comments).
You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use and display your content.
We may remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.

11. Fees & Monetization

No fees: Registration, contests, and features are free.
No ads or in-app purchases.

12. Disclaimers & Warranties

Service provided “as is” and “as available”.
No express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veks Fantasy and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Veks Fantasy and its affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Service.

15. Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your Account for any breach of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Provisions that by their nature survive termination (e.g., indemnity, liability limitations) remain in effect.

16. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or internet outages.

17. Assignment

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate or successor. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.

18. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices. Use such links at your own risk.

19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

21. Severability & Waiver
